Our history
1989
The start of TheMagicTouch®
The company started with our former CEO Juergen Hagedorn. A smart talented, creative inventor who started the company from the bottom, to a recognised global, and familiar company.
1990
The first patented transfer paper
TTC 300 the world’s first patented image transfer for electrostatic dry toner copiers/printers. This was one of the first milestones we achieved by protecting our great invention.
1991
TTC 300 was a major succes!
The personalisation market picked it up rapidly and with the start of TTC 300 for the color/copier CL1 the idea of a photo on a T-shirt got international attention and recognition.
1994 (’96/’97/’99)
The Quickprint Industry Awards
We got the Canon Colour Copy Awards for creating extra possibilities with transferpapers by just using a colour copy machine. This is were we were promoted to pioneers in the industry.
1994
TheMagicTouch® OBM 5.6
The demand for dark garments was next. A year later TheMagicTouch invented a white, thin coated transferpaper for dark garment where customers could print full colour + white images onto dark garments – in just one step.
2000
TheMagicTouch® DCT 4.5
Niche markets in specific countries asked for more options then only textile transfers. We started with a waterslide decal to decorate candles and so much more.
2007
TheMagicTouch® CPM 6.4
At this time our portfolio started to become the first and widest variaty of options. With TheMagicTouch® CPM 6.4, personalising on hard surfaces was tackled and opened great, new oppertunities.
2013
Industry-first white dry toner printer
OKI Europe and TheMagicTouch winning two trophies for the ground-breaking C711WT from OKI Europe, the first colour LED printer with white toner added to the established CMY colour process.
2013
MagiCut® Heat Transfer Vinyl
We started making superfast, high quality HTV because we saw things could be really improved with speed in mind. From experts in transferpapers we developed into a more wholesaler role.
2016
Best Image Transfer Product
On the Eurotrophex show in Amsterdam we introduced TheMagicTouch® RST 9.1 which has made it possible to personalise wood and cork products.
2019
TheMagicTouch® Sublimation Papers
Due to the rise in sublimation, creating our own range of sublimation papers was the next logical step. With the renowned premium quality expected from us.
2023
TheMagicTouch® Direct to Films
With the growing Direct to Film (DTF) market we started with a hotpeel DTF film with safe and secure material to provide our customers with the highest quality.
2024/2025
DTF Magic® Printer Pro 30
After three years of Research & Development we introduced the first DTF desktop model which is designed for ease of use, durability, and superior print quality.
