Important note
Make sure you have your license file ready. Here is an example of what the license file should look like: TheMagicTouch_AB12345678.license.
To find your license file, type in the Windows search box: *.license.
This should bring up any license file on your computer.
If your license file name does not start with TheMagicTouch_, or you cannot find your license file, please contact us through the support form to get a new license file for the latest generation TheMagicTouch software. If you have a license for the older version, getting a new one is free of charge!
Update TheMagicTouch Software Basic
- Download: Download the installation file.
- Unzip: Create a new folder and extract the downloaded file to it.
- Install: Open the extracted folder and double-click the install file
- Follow the on-screen instructions.
- When installed; Launch TheMagicTouch Software Basic.
- Install license: Go to the “Tools” menu and select “Install license.”
- Select file: Locate your new license file and click “Open”.
- Done! You can now start printing.
Update TheMagicTouch Software Pro
- Download: Download the TheMagicTouch Software Pro installation file.
- Extract: Create a new folder and extract the downloaded file to it.
- Install: Open the extracted folder and double-click the install file “TheMagicTouch Pro ROW v27.exe.” Follow the on-screen instructions.
- Open the software: Start TheMagicTouch Software Pro.
- Install license: Go to the “Tools” menu and select “Install license.”
- Select file: Find your license file and open it.
- Done! You can now start printing from TheMagicTouch Software Pro.
Tips
- Saving the license file: Save the license file in a safe place, such as a separate folder on your computer.
- Do not rename the file: Make sure you do not rename the license file.

FAQ
I cannot find my license file, what can I do?
Do not panic, we can help you out! All you have to do is note the Serial number of your printer.
On most models this is on the rear of the printer.
Exception is the OKI Pro8432WT. On this printer the serial number is a bit hidden. Here’s more information on how to find it here.
Can I delete the old version of the software from my PC?
Yes, you can do so without any problems. You can do this before installing the new version, or after. Both will be fine.
