Update TheMagicTouch Software Basic

Step 1: Install the printer driver

Important: Make sure your printer is connected via a USB cable and ready to print.
OKI printers: Download and install the correct driver.
Ricoh printers: Download and install the correct driver.
Other printers: Refer to your printer manual for specific installation instructions.

Step 2: Install TheMagicTouch Software Basic

Download: Download the installation file.
Unzip: Create a new folder and extract the downloaded file to it.
Install: Open the extracted folder and double-click “TheMagicTouch Software Basic ROW v69.exe.” Follow the on-screen instructions and activate the software with the license file.
Open the software: Launch TheMagicTouch Software Basic.
Install license: Go to the “Tools” menu and select “Install license.”
Select file: Locate the license file you received by email and open it.
Done! You can now start printing.

Tips

Save the license file: Save the license file in a safe place, such as a separate folder on your computer.
Do not rename the file: Make sure you do not rename the license file.
Problems: If you experience any problems during installation, consult the manual or contact customer service.

Update TheMagicTouch software Pro

Installing an upgrade requires a license compatible with TheMagicTouch software.
The license is a file named “TheMagicTouch_xxxxxxxx.license,” where xxxx is the serial number of the corresponding printer.
If the name of your license file does not begin with “TheMagicTouch_,” please contact our support department to have your license changed free of charge.
If the name of your license file does begin with “TheMagicTouch_,” install the latest version as follows.

Update TheMagicTouch Software Pro

Download: Download the TheMagicTouch Software Pro installation file.
Extract: Create a new folder and extract the downloaded file to it.
Install: Open the extracted folder and double-click “TheMagicTouch Pro ROW v27.exe.” Follow the on-screen instructions.

Step 3: Activate the software with the license file as follows

Open the software: Start TheMagicTouch Software Pro.
Install license: Go to the “Tools” menu and select “Install license.”
Select file: Find your license file and open it.
Done! You can now start printing from TheMagicTouch Software Pro.

Important

Do not change the license name: Make sure you do not change the name of the license file.
Save the license file: Keep the license file in a safe place for future use.
