Installation Guidelines
Installing the printer driver
First install the printer driver before connecting the printer to your computer and turning it on. This prevents your operating system (Windows or Mac) from automatically installing a driver that is not suitable for working with transfer paper.
Registering the printer
This is especially useful for getting the most out of your warranty. Do this within 3 months of purchase via the links below to benefit from the maximum warranty free of charge.
Did you purchase a new RICOH laser printer?
Registering within 30 days of purchase secures a 1-year warranty on the printer in accordance with the manufacturer’s terms and conditions.
Did you purchase a new OKI LED printer?
Registering within 30 days of purchase extends the warranty free of charge from 1 year “Bring-in” to 3 years “On-site” in accordance with the manufacturer’s terms and conditions.
Unpacking
When unpacking, be sure to carefully remove all colored tapes and packing materials to ensure nothing gets damaged. Keep the packaging after unpacking in case you need to transport the printer. Once all the packaging has been removed, you’re ready to install the printer driver. Don’t connect the printer yet; only do so when prompted during the installation. This ensures you have the best driver option on your PC.
We recommend connecting the printer via USB cable for the most reliable operation.
Installing the printer driver
For a printer to function properly, a printer driver must be installed on your computer. This type of printer driver is also called a driver. Below, we describe the best way to do this. It’s always better to use the latest driver from the printer manufacturer’s website than the driver included on the CD or DVD. For this reason, we’re increasingly seeing devices no longer include CDs or DVDs.
Installation
For Windows
- Go to the Ricoh website to download the printer driver.
- Enter your Ricoh printer model in the search box, e.g., P C301W.
- Click on your printer in the search results.
- Select “Drivers and Software” and click the link provided.
For Windows
- Click “Download” under “PCL 6 driver.”
- Double-click the downloaded file and follow the on-screen instructions.
The driver is installed. - Afterward, you can install TheMagicTouch Software Basic if desired.
I don’t have TheMagicTouch software.
See the “TheMagicTouch Software” add-on.
I have purchased TheMagicTouch Software Basic.
I have already purchased TheMagicTouch Basic and received the license by email.

For Mac
- Click on the Mac OS version of your choice, or the latest available version if your Mac OS is newer. Click “Download” under “PCL 6 driver.”
- Double-click the downloaded file and follow the on-screen instructions.
- The driver is installed.
For Windows
- Go to the OKI website to download the printer driver.
- The driver is installed.
- Select your OKI printer, e.g., C650, and select your operating system.
- Scroll down and click “Download here” under “Driver” > “PCLXL driver.”
- Double-click the downloaded file and follow the on-screen instructions.
- Read the terms and conditions and select “Download upon agreement with the software agreement.”
- Double-click the downloaded file and follow the on-screen instructions.
TheMagicTouch Software
After this, you can install TheMagicTouch Software Basic for printers without white toner (CMYK) and TheMagicTouch Software Pro for the OKI Pro8432WT with white toner (CMYW).

- After installation, go to “System Preferences” > “Printers & Scanners.”
- Click the + to add the OKI and follow the on-screen instructions.
- Under “Use,” select the newly installed OKI software.
- The printer is now installed.
